For more than 13 years I have been working in the security/police business, out of which 5 years in an international environment. My career helped me in developing a good understanding and a good execution of the requirements for a Mission Security Officer position. I have a good understanding of the EU CSDP Missions Security system as a whole and I can certainly handle the tools designed for security preparedness and detailing the actions to be carried out and the sequences to be followed to ensure the security of the personnel, assets, resources and information. I have the expertise in delivering security trainings, in planning and conducting drills and exercises. As educational background I can mention that I have a degree in Law, I have graduated a Police Academy (4 years studies) as specialized investigator and I have underwent a large variety of courses to support my Security area of expertise. I am a reserve officer (specialty "intelligence protection") in the rank of Major within the Romanian MIA. I have expertise in advising the Heads of the units in Security matters by collecting and analysing the information, conducting risk assessments and developing SOPs CPs and EERPs, by focusing on identifying the threats and vulnerabilities, by analysing their impact and likelihood and developing mitigation strategies.
