If the answer to the previous question is Yes, please give some details. | "Since 2012, the Romanian Center for European Policies has implemented around 10 projects in the field of development cooperation, while 2 projects are still under implementation. We have been actively involved in Georgia's Europeanization process through the following projects: - ""Supporting the implementation of the Association Agreement with the European Union in Georgia"" In the Republic of Moldova, we have implemented several important projects: The ""Bucharest Refugee Simulation Camp” and “Investing in quality journalism on international development - a sustainable approach to raising public awareness on development cooperation and global issues"" projects were implemented by CRPE during the European Year for Development 2015. Currently, we are implementing a project (""Engaging the Future: Development Cooperation for High School Students) that aims to raise awareness among high school students on the Romanian development cooperation programme and support them to follow a carrer in this field. Also, we are developing a project (""Increasing the capacity of potential beneficiaries of European cross-border funding from the Republic of Moldova and building partnerships with potential beneficiaries from Romania"") focusing on informing potential beneficiaries about the specific requirements of cross-border programs, facilitating partnerships and strenghtening the capacities required to properly identify the development needs by providing specific training. |

If the answer to the previous question is Yes, please give some details. | "Besides CRPE's experience in the field of development cooperation, we have also implemented several EU funded projects in areas like justice, corruption, cybercrime, data protection: - ""State Owned Companies – Preventing Corruption and State Capture""- the project proposes an innovative, comprehensive approach to evaluate risks of state capture and corruption in SOEs across the EU, by combining corporate governance issues with indicators of economic performance to identify misappropriation of funds and with the responses of the judiciary and administrative bodies to such acts of funds misuse (case studies in Romania, Bulgaria, Czech Republic and Italy); - ""European judicial cooperation in the area of cybercrime"" - the project tackled the issue of European Cooperation on fighting Cybercrime from a judicial perspective, addressing the need of prosecutors and judges to have accurate knowledge of the present methods used in cybercrime investigation, national work procedures but also good practices in bi-lateral cooperation or cooperation with EU institutions; - ""W.O.C. Warning On Crime. Strengthening Knowledge Enhancing Warnings Raising Awareness On Public Works’ Corruption and Criminal Infiltration"" - The project aimed to promote and to develop coordination, cooperation and mutual understanding among national and European institutions in the fight against financial and economic crime by offering concrete tools, useful to improve European and Member States policies, and thus protect the economy assuring transparency and competition; - ""PROFILING – PROtecting citizens’ rights and Fighting ILlicit profilING. The right of data protection in the context of profiling""- the project focused on identifying and tackling the challenges posed by technology to the fundamental right to data protection." |

If the answer to the previous question is Yes, please give some details. | "Regarding our international projects and experience that were not mentioned above, we refer to the following: - ""Roma integration across the Danube: Best practices and social entrepreneurship models exchange between Romania and Bulgaria"" In addition, CRPE's experience as member of several international organisations or networks could be useful: CRPE is member of The Trans European Policy Studies Association. TEPSA is the first transeuropean research network, consisting of leading research institutes in the field of European affairs throughout Europe, with an office in Brussels. TEPSA’s aim is to provide a high quality research on European integration based on a triple “A” approach: Analysis, Assessment and Advice in order to stimulate discussion on policies and political options for Europe. In addition, CRPE is part of UNDP’s Regional Network for Public Administration Reform. The network aims at facilitating professional networking and cooperation between the countries in the region of Central and Eastern Europe and the Commonwealth of Independent States. Thematically, it focuses on strengthening capacities for policy making and coordination; improving public finance management; enhancing public sector organization and staffing and promoting public service delivery. CRPE is member of the Coalition for the European Continent Undivided by Visa Barriers, whose mission is to undertake joint actions to speed up the process of EU visa liberalization with the countries of the Eastern Partnership (Ukraine, Moldova, Belarus, Armenia, Azerbaijan and Georgia). |
